When is a Job Restructure appropriate?
If a job analysis determines that a position is inefficient or not aligned
with the organizational mission and goals, then a Job Restructure may
be appropriate.
What is the end result of a Job Restructure?
Responsibilities are deleted, moved, or added to the position’s
job description. In order to execute these changes, an action plan is
designed with a time table, specifies an owner for each action item, and
follows up on gaps between current and desired states until project completion.
